A mistake I made on day one of Prime Big Deal Days

I'd rather show you a slip than pretend I don't make them. Here's one from this week.

What happened

I posted an amika pick at $24.50, 50% off a $49 list price, and I called it "the shield Anti-Humidity Heat Protection Spray." The price was real. The name was wrong.

When I opened the product page again to add it to my list, the $24.50 price turned out to belong to a limited-edition anti-frizz set that includes The Shield and a Smooth Over Mask. The spray on its own was listed at $32. The link I used goes to the set at $24.50, so the price I quoted matched the link, but the description didn't match the price.

Where it's fixed and where it isn't

On this site, the deals page now describes it correctly as the limited-edition set. The original social post still carries the old wording, so if you saw it there, this is the correction.

The check I run now

Before I write a caption, I open the exact page my link goes to and confirm three things match: the product name, the style or size that's selected, and the price. Amazon pages often default to a different variant than the product you searched for, and that's an easy way to be wrong without meaning to be.

If you ever notice a price or name on here that doesn't match Amazon, tell me. I'd rather fix it than leave it.
