Every December, Cass opens a spreadsheet and does what she calls the stocking stuffer math. Eleven people. A number she will not say out loud. And a rule: nothing that looks like it came from a checkout-aisle panic.
This year the shortlist came together in an afternoon. A Clarins Lip Comfort Oil for her cousin, because lip oil is the sort of luxury nobody buys themselves. The Urban Decay Naked2 Basics palette, six matte neutrals in a slim case, for her roommate who owns forty shades of "nude" and is still looking. And the amika anti-frizz set for the friend whose hair has a mind of its own.
Then came the part Cass likes best: the tags. She printed a set of paper gift tags, tied them on with twine, and suddenly the little boxes looked like they had a plan. She stacked everything by the door and checked the spreadsheet. Under budget, with enough left over for hot chocolate.
Back in the real world: a lip oil, an eyeshadow palette, and a limited-edition haircare set (The Shield plus a Smooth Over Mask, not the spray alone). Check the Amazon page for current prices and contents before you buy.
