Wrapped everything, forgot the tags? Print them tonight
You've wrapped everything, stacked it neatly, and realized there's nothing to say who it's for. You don't need a store run. A printable PDF, scissors and about ten minutes will do it.
What you need
A home printer, plain paper or light cardstock, scissors (or a paper trimmer), a hole punch, and ribbon or twine.
Print settings that save headaches
Set scale to 100 percent, not "fit to page," or your tags shrink. In the US, choose Letter; elsewhere choose A4. My Etsy tag set includes both so nothing gets cut off. Cardstock between 65 and 110 lb feeds through most home printers.
Two quick ways to finish them
Punch a hole in the corner and thread twine for a classic look, or fold the tag over the ribbon and tape it. Write the name on the back so the front stays clean.
My 24-tag Christmas set is $2.99 on Etsy, Gumroad and Payhip. If you print them, do one test page first. It takes thirty seconds and saves a sheet of cardstock.
